Historical documents

I recommend those who pocess anything concerning current political events (i.e. photos, documents, video clips, and so forth) to keep them as many as possible. For the next couple of decades, they will become valuable sources for the next generation.

I don't believe those who say "time will prove one's guilt". For me, it depends on "who" hold the power at the time. Whether former PM Thanksin will become a hero or a villain, it's up to those who will be holding power to 'produce' knowledge or able to 'write' history legitimately.

Also, do remember as many details as possible. One day you will have to pass this story onto the youngers.

Be fair to every side.

Popular history tend to be written from the victors' perspectives.
One of my favorite conversations with Germans I meet in my travel is about how is history viewed there.

Would be curious to know what you think of PAD's folly in taking over the airport.

Very Simple: Internationally unacceptable, nationally tolerated. The PAD leaders would surely get away with this.

Thank you for your precise economics in words that makes all the sense in the world.
Being a traveler in Bangkok, I noticed the lesser number of people around.
Apart from that, the government's decision to reduce transit visa from 30 days to 15 days is not doing any good to people deciding to make Thailand a hub in their travels.
Though Thailand supposedly deduced their dependence on tourism since the SARS outbreak but it still is the main revenue and those two issues might cause more damage.
ps: One thing I have noticed in 12 years of coming to Thailand is how much people have changed. Not for the better...

For me, things that happened will never change, things that changed are the perspective towards them.

not being able to change the past is obvious
